This is my first delving into the Dungeon/Winter synth genre. This is track 1 of what will be a 4 track e.p. entitled: Wintereisse

Wintereisse is a concept that attempts to capture the essence and atmosphere of nor'easter snowstorms in New England and place it directly into the consciousness of the listener. In Winter the light dies earlier every day. It gives way to different shades of gray mixed with the soft light of homes that have closed up tight to keep warm. Now take that bubble of warmth and wrap yourself in it. Open the door and step into the night. Hear the wind through frozen branches, the sound of snow falling. In a world frozen and dead the storm is alive.
